Biography
Huang Tiejun, male, Han ethnicity, was born in November 1970. He holds a Ph.D. and is a professor. He is a professor at the School of Computer Science, Peking University, and the president of Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence. His research interests include visual information processing and brain-inspired intelligence.
He has won the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award (ranked 1 in 2017), the Second Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award (ranked 2 in 2012, ranked 4 in 2010). He is a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2014), a specially-appointed professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education (2015), a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation of the Ten Thousand Talents Program (2018), a fellow of the China Computer Federation (2019), a fellow of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (2019), and a fellow of the China Society of Image and Graphics (2021).
